‘‘Movies are like an expensive form of therapy for me.’’
- Tim Burton

I have always had an interest in theater and film. While in high school, my love for them really developed when I worked as part of the stage crew for the drama department. My parents would tell me that one day it would be me accepting an Oscar for Production Design/Set Decoration. However, growing up in Colorado, I didn’t always think I could work in film because there wasn’t a thriving industry. So, my career started with me pursuing my first love, Interior Design, and I got my BA in that field in 2014 from the Art Institute of Colorado.

After working in interior design for 4 years, I decided it was time to switch gears and move to a place where I could turn that dream of working in film into a reality. In 2018 I moved to Savannah, Georgia to attend graduate school at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and graduated from there with my MFA in Production Design in 2019. I then moved to Atlanta and was able to start working in film where I found my home in Set Dec! Along the way I have met and worked with so many incredible people and have had so many amazing experiences, including giving birth to my son in January 2024.

I love getting to work in film, and I look forward to being able to show my son all the reasons why as he gets older. I look forward to a future where I can continue to grow my skills in Set Dec and work on the kind of films that I am passionate about.
